ABOUT MIDA:
MIDA is the government’s principal investment promotion and development agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) to oversee and drive investments into the manufacturing and services sectors in Malaysia. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur Sentral, MIDA has 12 regional and 21 overseas offices. MIDA continues to be the strategic partner to businesses in seizing the opportunities arising from the technology revolution of this era.

ABOUT MIDA SEOUL
Manage investment promotion programs and activities to promote foreign investments in the manufacturing and services sectors from Republic of Korea into Malaysia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• To contact Korean based companies to explore investment opportunities in Malaysia;
• To implement promotional activities and to promote Malaysia as business/investment destination;
• To contact and draw visit program to potential companies, targeted/chambers/business related organizations/others;
• To assist and facilitate in providing information regarding investment policies in Malaysia;
• To prepare intelligence and situational reports concerning political and economic development in area of coverage;
• To assist in expanding investment networking with the business communities, chambers and the relevant government departments;
• Other tasks as directed by MIDA Director / Deputy Director at the office concerned

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Economy, Business or Management
• Basic knowledge of Economy and Marketing is an advantage
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience especially in marketing/research/promotional works
• Possess promotional and marketing skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Korean
• Computer literate
• Able to work independently, hardworking, self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and willing to travel.
