Job Title: Account Executive – PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games
Department/Team: Client Services//Olympic Operations
Reports To: Account Supervisor
Timing: August 2017 – April 2018

Brief Job Summary
The Account Executive will be involved in all elements of program management for our client, prior to, and during the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games. The Account Executive will be responsible for process management, approvals, timeline creation and maintenance, client communications, financial analysis, budget management, facilitating international purchases, facilitating legal clearance processes and evaluation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage portions of the client’s global hospitality programs, including program planning, operations, and execution
· Manage specific elements of programs including accommodations, tickets, F&B, transportation, amenities etc.
· Manage portions of the client’s rights activation programs, including consulting, reviewing and submissions on the Olympic approvals portal
· Create and maintain administrative documents for client reports and presentation including proposals, point of view, recaps, reporting, agendas, and timelines
· Track program elements in a clear, concise, and detailed manner including tickets, shipments, budgets, etc.
· Support in development of program budgets and manage those budgets to achieve client needs and remain on targeted budget
· Support in the development of staff plans, staff training plan, and transition plans for staff members hired on a program basis
· Challenge traditional hospitality programming with fresh, innovative, creative and best practice solutions
· Secure and manage transport solution for program, while working directly with international teams, and Transportation Manager in PyeongChang
· Tracks all ticketing, transportation needs, guest amenities and special guest requirements to ensure consistency within database
· Generates reports for team and client with registration activity and itinerary related reports as needed/requested
· Manage food & beverage planning for off-site events, entertainment, premiums & restaurants
· Assist with all post-program responsibilities including final vendor invoicing and payments, final vendor accounting, ticket reconciliation and all guest reports
· A high level of cross-functional collaboration with the US based Client Services team and the client are essential.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Be extremely detail-oriented and demonstrate a passion for list management, accuracy in written correspondence and overall program organization
· Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience
· Fluent in Japanese and basic English is a plus 
· Previous events execution experience preferred
· Ability to travel and work long hours. Requires 40+ days of continuous travel during Olympics
· Excellent inter-personal communication skills, both oral and written. Experience in client management a plus
· Experience with public speaking
· Ability to service multiple assignments simultaneously and working on several projects at one time
· Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to implement solutions quickly
· Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
· Proven ability to manage and prioritize independently in a fast moving and challenging work environment, while remaining calm under pressure
· Daily contact with clients and support teams via face-to-face communication, email and phone
· Be able to communicate effectively with guests/participants, colleagues and senior staff in a professional and pleasant manner
· Be a strong leader that inspires employee engagement through fun and inspired staff training and management
