Experience:
At least five years of experience in environmental engineering related to large scale building sites related to commercial development projects, of which, two years of experience in environmental project management and oversight is required.
Language: “This may be tested”
Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing English and Korean is required. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an English language testing unless an official English language test scores (TOEIC scores of at least 945/ TOEFL scores of at least 95) are submitted with application.

Job Knowledge: Knowledge of local building and construction codes, local safety, and security rules. Must be familiar with the local government structure and jurisdictions and the key personnel to facilitate authorization and related engagement. Must have professional knowledge in environmental design calculations and criteria, preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
Skills And Abilities: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and internet research. Processional skills and experience in using construction management software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera. Ability to create environmental engineering cost estimates and review environmental construction drawings for code compliance. Ability to operate documenting and measuring equipment such as cameras, infrared thermometers, surveying equipment levels, plumbs, and measuring tapes. Able to perform tasks related to planning, research, design, analysis, inspection, test, construction, supervision, assessment, project management and technology management based on advanced professional knowledge and practical experience in the areas of Water Pollution Control, Soil Environment, and/or Wastes Treatment. Must be qualified to sign-off on regulatory compliance reports for soil and groundwater remediation projects.
Licensing/Certificates: Environmental Engineer License (환경기사) as recognized by host government (Issued by “Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRDK)” (발급/시행기관 한국산업인력공단)) is required.
Education Requirements: University degree in Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
