We are seeking a Business Development Associate for a 2-year regular position (renewable) to work within the Business Development Department at the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul, Korea. (Duty Station: Seoul, Korea)
Job Description:
This job is responsible for the smooth coordination of business development activities across different units and departments in support of business development director. This person will also provide support in developing and managing appropriate documents and materials to support internal and external communications for business development.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities and communication required for business development with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop cooperation opportunities with internal and external stakeholders; coordinate tasks and activities
- Provide support in regular and ad-hoc business development meetings
- Coordinate incoming visits in relation to business development
- Manage data in the New Initiatives site in the IVI intranet and provide archive site to the initiative champions as required
- Provide insight and analysis in business development field
- Provide research and analysis to internal BD partners for new initiatives and opportunities
- Analyse financial and legal implications of new opportunities, initiatives and organizational strategy
- Provide support in tracking, updating, prioritizing, following up and close (as necessary) the initiatives and opportunities
- Provide technical support and inputs in assisting communications for business development
- Develop and manage necessary documents
- Create, edit and manage documents needed for business development
- Archive related information and documents in structured way
- Other ad-hoc tasks
- Provide support to business development director and BD partners in relation to new initiatives and organizational strategy
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in science related, business related field
- Related Field Work Experience
- Six years’ experience with undergraduate degree or four years’ experience with a master’s degree in related field: science, business development, or product/project management
- Technical and Professional Skills / Knowledge
- Excellent skills in MS word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with senior external contacts
- Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills; professional presence.
- Program/Project management skills are plus (including MS Project skill)
- Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English
