Overview 
The officer at the Commercial and Economy Section is to contribute to activities that will strengthen and enhance the economic relations between Czechia and Korea in all fields. As a part of a small team, you will be responsible for all commercial and economic sectors ranging widely from ICT or manufacturing to creative industries. Activities in this role include seeking, promoting and developing B2B and B2G business opportunities in Korea. The role also includes reporting to the Head of the Commercial & Economy section as well to the Ambassador, in which the main tasks are to provide insight, research and assistance.  

 Job Description
-Handling e-mail and telephone inquiries and correspondences 
-Liaising with Korean Ministries, Government agencies, as well as Korean businesses in various sectors
-Conducting research of Korean market, economy and distributors
-Planning and executing marketing activities including media contact, translating brochures, promo videos 
-Organizing and orchestrating V.I.P. & business delegation visits, meetings, B2B forums, trade fairs etc. 
-Writing Notes Verbal, speeches and letters on behalf of Ambassador and other diplomats of the Mission
-Managing a portfolio of contacts, maintaining relationships with relevant counterparts, affiliates and key industry representatives
-Other ad hoc activities requested by the Head of the Commercial Section

Experience
-Minimum of 3 years of solid work experience in a company or with a professional association
-Work experience at an Embassy is a plus
-Having an interest in the Korean market with up-to-date knowledge of the current economic affairs
-Flexibility and ability to contribute to a broad range of tasks at the Embassy

Qualification
-Education: University degree or above
-Language: Fluency in Korean and English both oral and written
-Character: Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously on the assigned tasks. Reliability with good communication and interpersonal skills    

Conditions of Employment 
-Reference checks may be conducted as part of the selection process
-Working hours are 08:30 am ~ 17:00 pm
-Starting Salary range will be [ 39,000,000 ~ 42,000,000 KRW ]
-Commencement working date is November 20, 2023 but can be flexible upon negotiation
- The employment is based on two 1 year contracts with high possibility to be a permanent position
