MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
As part of the DBT Marketing and Communications team, the job holder is expected to play a supportive role, assisting the team in various aspects of their marketing and communications activities under the guidance of DBT's Marketing and Communications Manager. This includes tasks related to branding coordination, online content creation, monitoring and reporting, and marketing team administration. The job holder will contribute to the team's efforts in optimising marketing activities, reaching the target audience, maintaining branding consistency, analysing media coverage, improving online engagement, and ensuring efficient administrative processes.

The job holder’s responsibilities encompass branding and collateral management, online content creation, monitoring and reporting, and marketing team administration. LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES:
At the British Embassy in Seoul, a full range of L&D opportunities is offered, including learning sets, e-learning, and face-to-face classes. The job holder's induction into embassy work will primarily involve online courses and on-the-job learning, with the possibility of an additional induction course at the Regional Marketing Hub. Every staff member is entitled to 5 L&D days per year, providing dedicated time for professional development and growth.
WORKING PATTERNS:
The normal working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:15 (17:00 on Fridays). While occasional evening work and travel overseas (including weekends) and within Korea may be required, we are committed to promoting family-friendly flexible working opportunities whenever possible. These arrangements are subject to operational, and security needs to ensure a balance between work responsibilities and personal commitments.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:15 (17:00 on Fridays). However, occasional evening and weekend working may be required, for which time off in lieu is given. The British Embassy encourages flexible working and various flexible working arrangements are possible with line manager agreement, including working from home.
