MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Job Holder will contribute to the policy work of the Political Team and serve as an important contact point for external stakeholders. They will work closely with the wider Embassy, as well as with the Korean Government, Parliamentarians and civil society to deliver UK objectives. The successful applicant will also provide organisational and logistical support to the Political Team and to the Ambassador and Deputy Ambassador.

The job holder will be responsible for managing limited budgets in support of Political Team projects.

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:15 (17:00 on Fridays). However, occasional evening and weekend working may be required, for which time off in lieu is given. The British Embassy encourages flexible working and various flexible working arrangements are possible with line manager agreement, including working from home one day a week.
