Safran - System Technician / Engineer
MISSION
Provide technical support and expertise to Safran Electronics & Defense’s customers in Korea:
- Trouble shooting and repair of equipment / system in service
- Follow-on Training
- Technical support for integration, set up to work, final acceptance
- Technical support for demonstrations and exhibitions
DOMAIN
- All fields of activity of Safran E&D, including Aerospace, Industry, Army, Navy, Marines, Special forces, etc…
- Military and Civilian applications
PROFILE TYPE
- Technician or Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration and / or system maintenance
- Legally allowed to work for a foreign military industry company with no restriction
STARTING DATE: ASAP
WORKPLACE & STAKEHOLDERS
Workplace: Based in Korea (main activity); Possible missions in East-Asia ; Training in Europe & USA
Stakeholders:
- Institutional entities: ROK Armed Forces, state agencies
- Customers & partners: platforms/systems/equipment manufacturers, local suppliers
- Safran E&D entities including subsidiaries and Safran entities
ATTACHMENT &LOCATION
Company: Safran Electronics & Defense Korea Co., Ltd
Based at Safran E&D Korea Co., Ltd. office (Hannamdong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul)
Working place: Seoul, all Korea (up to several times per week, one day to full week) + travel to foreign countries when needed (1 to a few times per year, a few days to 2 weeks each)
TOOLS, LANGUAGE & RESSOURCES
Working language: Fluent Korean (mandatory) + Technical English (mandatory) + French (optional)
Abilities:
- Sufficient Technical knowledge and skills to understand the principals and operation of Safran E&Ds technologies, equipment and systems (dedicated training will be provided by the employer)
- Technical skills to operate, maintain and repair electronic hardware up to level 2 (Shop Replaceable Units)
- Technical skills to set up and trouble shoot operating softwares
- Minimum operational skills to present and demonstrate equipment
- Good communication skills to ensure strong and smooth relations with our customers
- Open to cross cultural working environment in a small team
- Strict compliance to ethical and business policies and processes of Safran
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of Korean and western military systems and industries
- Sufficient computer skills for presentation / reports / emails
Career level: entry (1-2 years of related experience preferred)
Salary: must indicate your desired annual salary in your CV (negotiable after the interview)
