ERM Korea is currently going through a period of significant growth in the market whilst also servicing an existing large client base. ERM consultants work on a wide range of interesting strategy & operations projects. To support the successful delivery of this growth ambition, a number of experienced consultants are needed at different levels to help us develop client relationship and new business, and to manage and deliver projects.

Therefore, ERM Korea is looking for consultant / sr. consultant level professionals with consulting background and strong interests in sustainability / ESG to join our Seoul office. Consultant will act as the project executioner and support the successful delivery of ERM proposals and projects in line with our vision, values and our strategic imperatives. Your role will be primarily focused on project delivery whilst contribute to client relationship development and business development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in leading consulting engagements and project delivery. You have working knowledge on the sustainability related challenges companies face nowadays. Ideally, you have applied your knowledge to advise clients on various C-level sustainability agendas. You will enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-moving environment. Fluent in English/Korean, you will have excellent report writing skills.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

• Master’s degree preferred, but not required

• at least 6 years experiences relevant responsibilities

• 2+ years of strategy / operations consulting experience required

• Broad business acumen

• Excellent problem solving and analytic skills

• Great teamwork skills and module leader experience

• Ability to play different roles in various projects

• Outstanding communication skills

• ESG DD, CDD / ODD experience preferred, but not required

• Familiar with Financial Sector in Korea and the region, in particular PE and/or commercial banks as a plus;

This role can be based in any of our offices in Seoul and may require you do some domestic and international travel when we come out of COVID.

Main responsibilities are (not limited to):

• Adhering to all ERM and client requirements

• Manage and perform ESG due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and property sales and leases

• Manage and conduct E&S due diligence for project finance

• Conduct, manage and deliver projects; working with project team members closely to complete tasks within project scope, budget and schedule requirements

• Work as the point of contact as when required to communicate with clients and project teams and Partner-in Charge

• Work as part of the consulting engagement teams across the range of projects, and contribute to the business development process which may involve proposal writing

• Capitalize on existing client relationships to expand ERM’s profile and market share through a combination of excellence in delivery and business development support
