•	The Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia welcomes eligable candidates interested in applying for PostDoc Latvia and Marie Curie Individual Fellowships. 
•	The success rate in PostDoc Latvia program is around 50%. 
•	The success rate in Marie Curie Individual Fellowships is more than 14%, but the chances of the application success are considerably enhanced by the new Widening Fellowships call addressed to the new EU member states (including Latvia) and associated countries. 

We are looking for applicants of any nationality with PhD degree 
willing to do research in these topics: 
•	Computational Material Science& Modelling, 
•	Energy, 
•	Sensors and Actuators, 
•	Photonics& Micro& Nanoelectronics, 
•	Films& Coatings& Interfaces
