Contract Administration Associate/Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Assist the assigned contract manager of major contracts in strengthening contract administration, including participating in contract negotiations, monitoring and managing contract performance following predetermined key perforamance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreement (SLA), handling contract payment, amendments and extensions, among others.
• Help handle the procurement process for low-value contracts, including negotiating and drafting contracts with vendors in compliance with the AIIB's procurement requirements.
• Conduct sourcing for general service providers to establish and expand the qualified vendor pool in response to Bank-wide business needs.
• Perform budget and expense analysis for major and long-term contracts.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on contract matters.
• Keep track of best suitable practices in contract administration among peer organizations and international trends and serve as the repository of knowledge of contract administration best practices within AIIB.
• Provide training on contract management issues and offer advice on implementing AIIB's procurement policy for vendors.
• Prepare the annual procurement plan and budget plan based on AIIB's emerging needs on administrative services.
• Other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years (for Analyst) or 3 to 5 years (for Associate) experience in procurement, contract administration, and vendor management in multilateral development banks (MDBs), international organizations, or equivalent organizations.
• Basic knowledge and experience of international best practices in contract administration, vendor management, as well as public procurement.
• Demonstrated experience with the use of e-procurement systems used by MDBs, international organizations, governments, or public sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in public procurement, supply chain management, business management or other related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills.
• Strong sense of teamwork.
