The APEC Secretariat seeks a Digital Communications Manager who is responsible for managing the forum’s website and enhancing the digital communications experience for stakeholders and the public.

The successful candidate will thrive in a multilateral organization, and will bring experience in web project management, design and multimedia content creation. We’re looking for someone who is a team player with strong interpersonal skills, keen instincts and sound judgment.

• An up-to-date and accurate flagship website aligned with APEC priorities that works optimally, efficiently and effectively.
• APEC’s satellite website platform to support stakeholders' needs.
• Digital project components and conceptual analytics for all digital platforms to optimize performance.
• Digital communications initiatives that benefit stakeholders.
• Content production and management of digital communications assets.
• Digital communications strategy aligned with market’s standards, in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
• Recruitment, selection, sourcing, hiring and managing vendors and assessing performance. 

Key Accountabilities/Duties

• Steward of apec.org, ensuring that webpages are current.
• Works with team members and stakeholders in populating the forum’s website, actively audits content to ensure platform is error-free.
• Formulate strategies and plans for enhancing APEC’s digital communications channels and improve website users’ experience.
• Undertake analyses and concept papers pertaining to related web and digital communications services.
• Work with teams and other project leaders/stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies and provide perspective for adoption where appropriate.
• Create digital communications strategy, website policy and related guidelines in alignment with overall communications priorities, policy directions and goals.
• Responsible for planning/ design/ developing and testing digital communications projects.
• Critically assess server strategy and advise on new approaches in response to changing conditions and needs.
• Execute projects ensuring content and services meet established timelines and standards.
• Manage pay-per-click and search engine optimization campaigns, as needed.
• Policies and procedures for the efficient management of digital communications activities.
• Prepare budget; manage programs; procure resources; monitor; and report expenditures.
