The TCS is looking for qualified candidates for general economic affairs project assistant. This position aims to assist the Department of Economic Affairs in organizing events and cooperating with relevant parties. The economic project assistant is expected to contribute to a wide range of tasks for the project, including organizing events, researching and proofreading information, translation and interpretation, and others.

Job Description

• Providing assistance in organizing conferences, forums, seminars, and other events
• Editing and proofreading English materials
• Researching and selecting information
• Translation and interpretation
• Other tasks assigned to implement the project

Qualifications

• Citizen of the Republic of Korea
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (including degree candidates) in Interpretation and Translation, International Relations, Regional Studies, Humanities or other social sciences preferred
• Native-level proficiency is expected of your native language. Proficiency in English is also required. Chinese and Japanese are preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks with energy and a positive attitude
• Ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which includes willingness to understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views
• Notes: applicants will be required to submit documents to prove their qualifications at the later stage of the recruiting process

Selection Process                                

• Application Deadline: Sunday, March 5, 2023
• 1st round: Document review
• 2nd round: Interview (scheduled for the second week in March)
• All applicants will be individually notified regardless of the results once we finish each screening process.

Administrative Arrangement

• Compensation: KRW 2,500,000/ month (prior to tax deductions, including meal and commuting allowance)

• The Certificate of Participation will be awarded after completion of the project.
• The project will not assist with visa procedures.
